The Foam October Caddis is a late-season dry fly built to capitalize on one of fall's most exciting hatches. The large, burnt-orange foam body captures the unmistakable silhouette of Dicosmoecus, the giant caddis that drives trout into a surface-feeding frenzy from late September through November.

Foam construction keeps it riding high through heavy riffles and choppy runs, while rubber legs and a palmered hackle add the lifelike movement that triggers aggressive takes.

Fish it skating or dead-drifted — trout will come a long way for this fly.

It also works as a dry-dropper anchor, supporting a nymph beneath for double-duty coverage.
