Description
The Griffith's Gnat is a midge cluster imitation that has saved the day for dry fly anglers since George Griffith first tied it. Small and impressionistic, it imitates a tightly packed group of midges trapped in the surface film — exactly what selective trout are eating on those frustrating days when nothing visible is hatching.
The peacock herl body and grizzly hackle palmered the length of the shank create a buggy, realistic profile that works in sizes from #14 all the way down to #24.
Essential when fish are sipping in slow pools or tail-outs and refusing everything else in your box.
| Material | Peacock Herl, Grizzly Hackle, Thread, Hook |
| Targeted Fish | Trout |
| Best Season | Year-Round (especially Winter – Spring) |
